Maths that is actually right
Each one quietly costs you money on every single job. Infill gets all three right, and shows you the working.
A 50 % margin means half the selling price is profit, so the price is twice your cost. A 50 % markup adds half the cost on top. Calculators that multiply by 1 + margin and call it margin undercharge you by a third.
Infill keeps the two apart and labels which one you picked.
If a share of your prints fail, you do not add that share on top — you run more prints to land one good part. Dividing by 1 − failure rate is the honest version of the sum.
At a 20 % failure rate you pay for 1.25 prints on average, not 1.2.
Etsy takes its cut of the selling price — which is the number you are still trying to work out. Applying the percentage to your cost instead leaves you short. Infill solves the equation for the price.

Each filament is charged at its own rate, and the material flushed at every change is its own line rather than a waste percentage. On a four-colour print it is routinely the second largest cost.
Keep the spools you actually own — colour, weight, what you paid. Saving a quote takes its grams off the spool it used, waste and flushed material included, and flags the ones running low.
A .gcode from PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or Cura, or a sliced .3mf project. Cura states length rather than mass, so there Infill shows the metres it read and says the grams were calculated.
